An interesting museum with much to see! The guide was extremely helpful and answering questions and was friendly towards children. Many unique artifacts are in this museum.

Fun place

A little taste of island history. Unique collection of native and Islanders lifestyles

This tiny museum holds more artifacts than many larger ones. Very nice host who grew up on Washington Island knew many interesting stories about island history.

The museum wasn't open when we visited, but it is a wonderful site. We walked to Little Lake and were pleasantly surprised to find the Thorstein Veblen cabin.
